Heavy showers in western Scotland at first, fading as they move south, fair elsewhere
Dry sunny England and Wales, heavy rain Scotland showers following Dry and sunny start across England and Wales continuing through the morning with variable cloud temperatures 15C generally likely 18 Cheshire and Shropshire to Gloucestershire to Wiltshire, Lincolnshire and Cambridgeshire. A cloudy start with prolonged spells of often heavy rain into Highland to Ayreshire and across Antrim to Derry though the morning with further showers following as rain moving eastwards towards Borders.
Showers of longer spells of rain into the afternoon Cumbria to Yorkshire during the afternoon. Sunshine and scattered showers later Avon and Wiltshire. Sunshine for most during the evening though showers continuing across Highland.
Overnight plenty of cloud for many areas. Some spots of showery rain in northern England and Wales as well as southern Ireland. More persistent showers in northwest Scotland. Clearer spells in the rest of Scotland.
