Morning Call - November 22, 2019
Rain southwest
Feeling less cold

Issued: 0530hrs Friday 22nd November 2019
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

A mostly cloudy day with showery outbreaks of rain for many. Heavier, more persistent rain moves into the southwest later and persists through the afternoon and evening.

Good morning,

It's a rather cloudy start to the day across the country with outbreaks of showery rain affecting southern and eastern parts of England, northern parts of Scotland, Northern Ireland and much of Ireland. A few mist and fog patches around first thing too for Wales and western parts of England.

Through the afternoon we see a further area of heavy rain arriving to the southwest affecting much of Wales and southwest England. A few showers persist over northern England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Ireland though we will see a few sunny spells developing here too. High temperatures will generally range from 6 to 10C.

Rain continues for Wales and the southwest UK into Friday evening, spreading into eastern Ireland and Northern Ireland too. English Channel coasts could also see rain developing through the evening.

Have a good day!

Claire
