Showery rain passes east as brighter, windier weather reaches northern and western areas, feeling cool
A fair morning in East Anglia and southeast England, but cloud increasing here. Showery rain in more northern and western parts of England and Wales, the wind increasing to. Rain affecting much of Scotland and Ireland, but turning brighter in the west and feeling cold in the strengthening wind.
This afternoon sees more rain in northern and central areas, as well as in Wales. Patchy rain reaches southeast England with East Anglia becoming weter for a time. Sunny spells and dry across much of Ireland,. northern England and then Wales as well as southern and eastern Scotland. Some showers in western Scotland and along the coasts of Northern Ireland.
Tonight is mostly dry as any rain clears from southeastern England. Some showers always affecting northern and western coasts, especially Scotland and the west of Wales and western England. Some clear spells elsewhere. Staying breezy in the northern half of the UK, but Ireland and the southern Uk have lighter winds and become cool.
