Feeling cool in the wind

Good morning,

A band of rain affects England and Wales this morning, advancing slowly south-eastwards, but giving persistent rain for many hours, heaviest across south & west Wales.

After starting dry in the south, rain will develop, and become persistent into the afternoon, heaviest in the south-west, but patchy in the south-east. Strong and gusty winds, particularly on the south coast.

Brighter skies spread to Wales, northern England and the Midlands, although a few squally showers will follow. Most frequent bursts of rain affect Scotland & Ireland, often heavy, with hail and possible thunder. Snow over the mountains.

Top temperatures today around 11C in the south, but only 6 or 7C in the north & west, and feeling chilly in the wind.

Have a great day.
Garry
