Wednesday 28th February Cloudy start across western Scotland with prolonged spells of often heavy rain, rain also fringing into Wales and southwest England during the morning. Remainder of England a dry morning with sunshine thoug with cloud increasing during the morning with midlands and eastern England staying mainly dry with occassional outbreaks of rain temperatures 6-8C highest towards south and east. Sunshine and showers following into Scotland during the afternoon as rain clears with a freshening SW wind. Showers continuing into the evening across Scotland and Wales and later some longer spells of rain for southern Scotland, cloudy for the remainder of England with temperatures rising through the evening then remining near 10C overnight with a fresh SW wind Cloudy start for Thursday with rain slow to clear Hampshire to E.Anglia during the morning, temperatires 10C at first will fall during the afternoon as cloud and rain clears.
