Rain in Scotland, showers in western England and Wales, drier central and eastern areas
Heavy showers and some rain affecting the southern coasts of England pn Tuesday morning. Cloud and more heavy showers over western parts of Wales and England. Rain in central, western and southern Scotland but drier in the north. Sunshine and showers across Ireland, some of the showers heavy.
This afternoon sees fewer showers to the south. Dry with sunny spells for many central and eastern areas. Showers still over western coasts and hills, these less frequent than this morning. More rain to come in Scotland, most in the west. Sunny spells and some showers for Ireland, most ion the west.
Overnight it stays wet for much of Scotland with rain here and some sleet on hills. Showers over western coasts and hills of Wales and England. Drier for other areas with some clear spells.
