Morning Call - July 18, 2020
Rain central areas
Warm in southeast

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 18th July 2020
Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson

Brighter with showers north

Good morning,

A cold front drifts slowly south across England and Wales today, bringing cloud and rain, most persistent in western areas, on and off over several hours for central counties onward into the afternoon. Rain clearing from northern England.

The far south and southeast stays dry most of the day with some sunshine, although tending to cloud over from the north.

Low pressure centred well to the north brings showery conditions to Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Today's top temperatures reaching 25C around London, and 21C for the Midlands, but only 16 to 18C for northern and western Britain and Ireland.

Have a great day.
Garry
