Plenty of rain, heavy in west, breezy too yet mild.
Rain across southern Scotland, northern and central England will gradually clear to allow for a largely dry and fine morning for many northern and eastern areas. Different story across southern and western areas, including Ireland, Wales and southwest England, where rain, heavy and persistent at times with breezy conditions will affect here throughout.
In the afternoon, winds will strengthen more widely and rain is expected to spread up from the west and southwest, still heavy and persistent across parts of Wales, southern and western Scotland where localised flooding is possible. The southeast of England, including East Anglia, should remain dry, fine throughout and feeling mild.
Overnight, rain becoming isolated and patchy and eventually clearing from the south with winds easing. The far northwest, however, seeing showers or longer spells of rain continue throughout. Through the early hours some persistent rain will push across southern into southeastern areas of England and possibly parts of Wales.
