Patchy rain in south
Brighter north

Issued: 0530hrs Sunday 31st July 2022
Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus

Patchy rain in the south clearing. Drier and brighter elsewhere

Good morning,

Cloud and patchy rain gradually clears from the west with drier and sunnier conditions developing here through the day. Eastern areas seeing some rain linger throughout.

More variable cloud cover and a few scattered showers across eastern parts of Scotland, otherwise dry and fine with sunny spells about for many.

Warm and muggy still across the south and southeast with highs well into the mid 20s, fresher further north and west.

Overnight, any rain largely clears across southern areas. Staying dry with clear spells further north but cloud increasing in the west with rain pushing in to southwest Ireland later. A fresher night.

Have a good one.

Alexi
