Murky around western coasts
Good morning,
A slack westerly pattern influences the British Isles to start the new week. High pressure lies to the south-west. Weak fronts drift from west to east. A humid atmosphere results in a lot of cloud across the country.
Patchy rain and drizzle for western regions of England and Wales, also much of Ireland, although total rainfall small. Foggy over many hills, and murky around coasts in the south-west.
A little drizzle may come and go for the Midlands, drifting into some eastern counties at times, mostly by afternoon.
Scotland should be commonly dry, with just local patchy drizzle. Some sunshine to the east of the Highlands. Light winds overall.
Today's top temperatures will reach 23 to 25C in central, east & southern England. 18 to 22C for the west and north. Feeling humid.
Have a great day. Garry
