Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 21st January 2025 Duty forecaster: Dan Graves
Spots of rain central England and north, more frequent on Scotland's west coast. Widely overcast.
Good morning,
Low pressure off west Scotland and high pressure over France push some weak fronts around the Isles, producing plenty of clouds and rain spells. Most of that rain will fall in western areas from central England northward, north Wales as well. Overcast for most, though eastern areas may see some brighter spells, especially in the lee of higher terrain. Most areas will see temperatures between 5 to 7C.
Where spells of rain occur during the day, so too may they occur overnight. Rain arrives into the southwest as well, mostly over the English Channel, but gradually reaching southern lands.
Enjoy the day! -Dan
