Dry for most, long sunny spells, morning rain in the east

High pressure building up over the British Isles from the west. In the morning hours showery rain in the southeast and East Anglia, possibly with one or two heavy bursts. Later localised showers along the spine of England and in southern/eastern Scotland, except for that dry.

Increasingly sunny during the day, after widely cloudy skies in the morning.

Very sunny in Ireland and extensively dry. Late evening clouds move in from the west, but it should initially stay dry, although rain starts before following morning.

Fresh breeze in the morning along the eastern coast. Light winds in other parts of Britain and Ireland.

Pleasantly warm with around 20C in Ireland, just below 20C in Scotland and toward 25C in southern England.
