Mostly dry with some sunny spells, but breezy and damp far south
Cloud and some outbreaks of rain, as well as a strong northeast wind affecting the far south and southeast of England today. Rain is likely to be affecting many southern coasts, east of the Isle of Wight through this afternoon too. For other parts of England and Wales there will be some broken cloud, but better sunshine as you head northwards.
Scotland will have a few showers to the north and west, with further showers in Ireland as well. Generally many eastern areas of Ireland and much of Scotland stay dry with broken cloud and some sunny spells. Feeling cool for all in the wind. Tonight stays dry for most, although always some cloud around the coasts in the west. One or two showers on eastern coasts as well.
