Staying cloudy but dry in the south.
A mostly cloudy start across the south and west, although mostly dry, with winds lighter than of late as pressure rises from the west. Some showery rain develops into the early afternoon across Northeast England and parts of Scotland, mostly light although a few heavier bursts are possible. Remaining dry across much of England and Wales although a cloudy afternoon for many.
Some more organised rain tracks eastwards across the far north of Scotland into Tuesday evening, with thicker cloud across the west of Scotland and much of the remainder of the UK. The odd shower continues across northeast England into the start of Wednesday.
