Morning Call - November 30, 2024
Milder air ubiquitous
Wet spells west, bright spells elsewhere

Issued: 0530hrs Saturday 30th November 2024
Duty forecaster: Dan Graves

Milder air across all areas, though remaining breezy and mostly cloudy

Good morning,

A mild warming took place overnight and most of us are seeing at least 10C this morning, slightly cooler in the southeast. Clouds will remain generally widespread. The south-southwest winds will allow for some brief sunny breaks in the east while hills along the west coast will experience occasional drizzly showers and strong winds. Little change will come during the day.

We'll hold on to the warmth into the evening and night. Winds will increase a bit, particularly in the northwest, which will bring some moderate showers into Northern Ireland and western Scotland. After passage, we begin to lose the warmth to a more northerly breeze on Sunday morning.

Enjoy the warmth. It won't stick around for long.
