Rain northwest Scotland
A strong area of high pressure lies to the east of Britain today, promoting a very mild south to southwesterly airflow across the country.
Fronts extend over northwest Scotland bringing rain here. Most places dry. Murky around western coasts. Best of any sunshine in the east.
Brisk winds in the north and west, local gales over the hills.
Today's top temperatures will be widely 10 to 12C.
Have a great day.
