Mainly dry with sunny spells developing. Rain in Scotland though
Rain is expected to continue across northern into some central regions of Scotland through the day. Elsewhere, expect a mostly dry day, other than some scattered showers. Rather cloudy to start but sunny spells are expected to develop for many.
Overnight, rain will gradually clear from northern and eastern Scotland to become drier here. Later in the night, patchy light rain could affect southwest Wales while persistent rain moves in on to the far south and southeast of Ireland.
Top temperatures 17 to 24C, warmest in the southeast, although cooler still across western Scotland and northwest England. Overnight lows dropping to single figures in the north including Northern Ireland. Milder further south.
