Heavy rain and windy in north.

Heavy rain over north England and southern Scotland in the morning will quickly clear to the northeast. Drier conditions with sunny spells are expected later in the day, with scattered showers these more frequent and heavy in west and northwest. Easing winds. Temperatures will rise up to 16C in north and 22C in south.

Frequent and possibly heavy showers over western Ireland and western Scotland in the evening, with thick cloud over southern England arriving overnight with some rain. Elsewhere drier. Minimum temperatures at 10C in north, and 14C in south.
