A weak weather front will bring some patchy light rain to northern areas through the morning though this will ease to leave a dry but rather overcast afternoon for most
Sunday starts rather overcast for much of the UK and Ireland with patchy light rain and drizzle over Northern Ireland, Scotland and into northern parts of England too. In the south and southeast where skies are clearer, temperatures may have dropped low enough overnight for some groundfrost to develop.
The rain will ease through the morning to leave a dry afternoon for most places though a few showers could creep into western fringes of Ireland later. There will be varying amounts of cloud around through the day with the thickest cloud in the west. The southeast will see the best chance of some good sunny spells developing throughout the afternoon. High temperatures will widely reach 5 to 7C however for parts of Ireland and the southwest temperatures could reach as high as 9 to 11C.
It will stay dry through the evening before the next weather system approaches from the northwest through the night. Overnight into Monday, winds will pick up from the west and a band of rain will edge into western fringes of Ireland and Scotland.
Have a great day!
