Rain in the far south will gradually push into central areas. Largely dry with developing sunny spells further north and west.

In the morning, there will be rather a lot of cloud about for many. Mostly dry, although some persistent spells of affecting far southern and southwest English counties while patchy rain affecting parts of south and central Wales, across Oxfordshire and the SE of England.

In the afternoon, the heavier more persistent spells of rain will continue across southern counties but also push further north into south Wales and stretch east across Oxfordshire and the SE and as far northeast as Cambridgshire. Possible patchy light rain affecting parts of north Wales too. Largely dry elsewhere with sunny spells developing.

The rain continues to push northwards overnight. Currently looking to affect much of Wales and as far north as Merseyside and Manchester. Heavier spells across southern England into south Wales. Dry elsewhere with clear spells.
