Heating up again in the south

Largely dry and sunny conditions though do expect some thin high cloud. Becoming warmer again, hottest in the south where the sun will be strong.

Sunny spells also further north though the risk of some patchy light rain under thicker cloud in the very far north of Scotland. Light winds and coastal sea breezes.

Overnight, thicker cloud more widely across the north looks to bring the risk of patchy rain more widely across Scotland and Northern Ireland though many areas are expected to stay dry. Dry with clear spells further south.
