High pressure builds in
A chilly start in the north of Scotland on Saturday but high pressure building in is expected to settle the weather down.
It was be a largely dry day with developing sunny spells after a misty start for some, though there is increasing cloud and the risk of some patchy rain in the far northwest of Scotland through the day.
Overnight, it remains largely dry with clear spells, best of these further south. More cloud across Scotland with outbreaks of rain affecting northwest and northern Scotland.
