Largely dry but with some showers about
A chilly start for all and bright further south, broken cloud elsewhere with sunny spells. Mostly dry although showers look to push in to western areas on the north-westerly breeze.
Patchy light rain pushes down some eastern coasts of England as we head into and through the afternoon, while some showers continue further west but many of these should gradually fizzle out as pressure builds. Cloud builds more further south though sunny spells about widely.
A largely dry night with increasing cloud cover expected from the north and west. Still the risk of showers affecting western and southern coasts and hills. More persistent rainfall pushing in to far western regions of Ireland and the Western Isles of Scotland through the early hours.
