Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 30th June 2021 Duty forecaster: Alexi Venerus
Largely dry but some showers in southwest. Low cloud and mist possible for some.
In the morning, cloudy skies across much of central and southern England with showery rain possible across the southeast first thing. A shower risk developing late morning across parts of Wales and the southwest. Meanwhile elsewhere, some good spells of sunshine across Ireland, Northern Ireland and parts of northern England. Mist and fog could plague parts of Scotland and eastern coasts of England once again.
In the afternoon, sunny spells look like they should develop quite widely, with mist and fog gradually burning off further north too for some. A continued shower risk though across southwest England, Wales and into southern parts of Ireland.
The shower risk in the southwest is expected to fizzle out overnight. A mainly dry night thereafter with clear spells across southern areas, although more cloud cover for Scotland into north and east England.
