Humid & dry for most
Drizzle in west

Issued: 0530hrs Wednesday 7th September 2016
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Humid and very warm, mostly dry but some drizzle in the west

Good morning,

Another very warm and humid day ahead. The south to southeasterly wind is wafting warm air northwards from the continent. However, the continental air is drying and so the cloud is breaking with some bright or sunny spells developing/ The best of the sunshine this morning over southern England. Most places will be dry, but some thicker cloud and drizzle may still affect the far northwest of Scotland.

This afternoon sees dry weather for many with good spells fo sunshine, and continuing to feel very warm. Some lower cloud drifting north through Ireland and southwest Scotland producing an odd spot of drizzle at times.

Fresher weather and showery bursts of rain move through Ireland tonight, reaching the west coasts of Wales and southwest England by the morning. Eastern areas tending to be drier and more humid.
