Cloudier north with drizzle western Scotland, hot and dry in the south

Get set for a roaster in southern and central areas of England today. Generally plenty of cloud in more northern areas and across Wales and Northern Ireland too. Some drizzle in western Scotland but dry for other areas. Soon feeling very warm in central and southern areas in the sunshine.

This afternoon stays hot with plenty of sunshine in the Midlands, wales and southern England. Further sunny spells of Ireland too. Thicker cloud in northern England and Scotland. Some rain affecting the far north of Scotland with drizzle over western coasts of Scotland.

Tonight is going to be mostly cloudy and dry in northern and western Scotland. Clearer skies in central and southern areas and dry here too.
