Outbreaks of heavy rain, some thundery. Feeling warm and humid still
A mixed day and in parts unsettled as outbreaks of rain, some heavy and thundery, push across the country. Rather cloudy, however, sunny spells are expected across parts of England and Wales and particularly the southeast where it looks to see the driest of conditions and where temperatures will be very warm and humid again.
Overnight, outbreaks of rain gradually becoming more confined across northern and eastern regions of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland, while much of England and Wales will see drier conditions and clearer spells.
Highs up to 27C in the southeast, generally elsewhere highs between 17 to 25C, cooler again across northern Scotland. Lows staying mild for most at around 12 to 17C.
