Showery for England and Wales.

The morning will be mostly dry with some good brightness over central and northern parts. Some sea and coastal fog is expected over the east. Thicker cloud is expected over the south and central parts of England and Wales with some light showers at first, but possibly occasional heavy and possibly thundery showers from the afternoon. Tops of 20C in north and 24C in south.

Any coastal fog in east will gradually disperse. Heavy and possibly thundery showers are expected over southern and gradually over central England, merging locally into a longer spell of rain. A few showers possible over Wales and eastern Ireland, but mostly dry elsewhere. Minimum temperatures at 14C in north and 16C in south.
