Duty forecaster: Garry Nicholson
Mainly dry south-east
Low pressure lies north of Scotland today, whilst another centre of low pressure forms over Biscay and drifts toward southwestern Britain. A front lies from north-east to south-west across central England.
Rain or drizzle will linger for much of England, although very little toward the south-east. Heavier rain moves back into the south-west accompanied by a brisk south to southeasterly wind around coasts.
Showery in north-west Scotland, but much of Scotland will be dry with some sunshine. Largely dry too for Northern Ireland.
Today's top temperatures will reach 10 to 13C and it will stay mild into Sunday night, but murky with fog over hills.
Have a great day.
