Early fog patches clearing, rain north and west Scotland
Freezing fog patches over England and eastern Wales to start this morning. These will be lasting for several hours so do take care if you are out and about this morning. Once the fog and mist lift the morning should be dry with lots of sunshine.
Showery rain passes into central and western Scotland and affects eastern Ireland too. Western Ireland should be dry with sunny spells. This rain then slips into northwest England and northwest Wales this afternoon, although will only be light. Staying dry in most of the rest of England and Wales with more sunny spells. Tonight is cloudier for many, although still clear spells and a risk of some m fog in the southeast and East Anglia. Windy with showers in northern and western Scotland as well as northwest England.
