Morning Call - June 02, 2020
Fine, warm south
Cooler, showery north

Issued: 0530hrs Tuesday 2nd June 2020
Duty forecaster: Simon Keeling

Another warm day, but showery and turning cooler in Scotland

Good morning,

A fair start to the morning for most of us. There will be plenty of warm sunshine and it is going to be dry as well. There could be some cloud in more eastern areas of England as well as in the Midlands, but this should burn away. A front brings cloud and some showery bursts of rain into Scotland where it will be feeling cooler.

This afternoon sees that cloud and showery rain spreading south through the rest of Scotland. Drier in Ireland, England and and Wales with good spells of warm sunshine. There could be some low cloud drifting onto eastern coasts of East Anglia and the southeast once more. A change tonight as cooler air floods across all areas, pushing south as the night progresses. There will be some showers or rain in Scotland, northern England, Ireland and parts of Wales, this reaching to Midlands later in the night.
