A fine and breezy day, but make the most of it

Good morning,

It's a day to be making the most of for the majority of us because the weather is slipping away from us for the rest of the week; sorry to be the bringing of such good news!

Plenty of sunshine over most of the country today. Dry as well and feeling warm in that sunshine. The brisk southeasterly breeze some lower cloud at times to eastern coasts, probably mostly affecting East Anglia. Watch for the risk of some afternoon thunderstorms being triggered in Ireland. A warm day with temperatures into the low to mid 20's for many, although cooler in the low cloud in the east.

Cloud increases in the far west tonight as thundery outbreaks of rain continuet to affect Ireland, turning more persistent later in the night.
