Cool and showery into midweek

Good morning,

Cooler autumnal feeling weather is ahead this week as northwesterly winds prevail. Temperatures will become rather disappointing for September during midweek and some chilly nights later in the week.

Today, early rain in the east will clear, with sunny spells spreading from the west across England and Wales. A fine day for much of Ireland.

Scotland starts dry with sunshine best in the east, but thickening cloud in the west will develop into rain by the afternoon. Rain and drizzle moving into Northern Ireland later, then northwest England later in the evening.

Today's top temperatures ranging from 18C in the southeast, to 13C northwest. Feeling noticeably fresher than recent days.

Have a great day.
Garry
