Best in the east where there will be some sunshine, cloudier and drizzly in the west
There will be plenty of cloud around in Scotland, northern England, wales and Ireland today. A warm front brings plenty of moisture with it and this means drizzle for western coasts and hills too. A tendency for the drizzle to become more persistent this afternoon, turning to rain in Ireland.
Much brighter weather is following to the west. Good spells of sunshine is already into More eastern and southern areas of England and Wales should be brighter with some sunny spells, the best of them to the southeast. Feeling warmer in the sunshine too.
More drizzle in the west tonight, but better in more eastern areas where there will be clearer skies.
