Early rain southeast
Widespread sunshine later

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 6th April 2020
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

Rain clears to the southeast through Monday morning while showers affect western coasts and hills. These may merge to give longer spells of rain over western Scotland. Showers tend to fade through the afternoon with some good spells of sunshine developing for many through the late afternoon and into the evening.

Good Morning,

A cold front brings cloud and outbreaks of rain to southeastern parts of England through Monday morning while showers follow for western parts of Ireland, Wales and England. Longer spells of rain are expected over western parts of Scotland.

Rain clears east while showers tend to fade through Monday afternoon. Higher pressure builds from the southwest and clouds tends to break to leave a mostly dry and bright end to the afternoon. High temperatures range from 9 or 10C in the north of Scotland to 16 or 17C in the southeast of England.

Monday evening is dry and mostly bright across the UK and Ireland though western areas could see a bit more in the way of cloud.

Have a good day!

Claire
