Morning Call - June 22, 2020
Dull, damp northwest
Dry, fine southeast

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 22nd June 2020
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

Outbreaks of rain, some heavy, affect parts of Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland on Monday while much of England and Wales remain dry. The best of the sun over southern and southeastern parts of England. Breezy too to the northwest and for Irish Sea coasts of England and Wales where there may also be some light outbreaks of rain at times.

Good Morning,

Outbreaks of rain affect Ireland, Northern Ireland and western parts of Scotland through Monday morning where it will be rather breezy too. Later in the morning rain may drift onto Irish Sea coasts of Wales and northwest England too. Otherwise it's a dry start to the week for much of England and Wales. A rather cloudy morning across the British Isles with the best of the sun to the southeast of England.

Rain continues to affect western parts of the UK and Ireland through Monday afternoon with some heavy bursts for western Ireland in particular. A strong breeze also persists for western coastal regions of Ireland, Scotland, northern England and Wales. Continuing dry for eastern Wales and central, eastern and southern parts of England with the best of the sun to the south and southeast.

Little change into the evening though the focus of the heaviest rain moves from western Ireland to western Scotland. Winds tend to ease though may remain strong for Irish Sea coasts.

Have a good day!

Claire
