Dry, broken cloud and some sunny spells, best in the west

Cloud this morning across many areas of England and eastern Wales. Sunshine and dry in west Wales and the far southwest of England. Scotland will have sunshine and should be dry, although some cloud in the northwest. Ireland will be sunny and fair, good spells of sunshine here.

This afternoon sees further cloud across England and Wales as well as eastern Ireland. Sunny and dry in the southeast. More sunny spells for Scotland, broken cloud in the far north. Staying warm this afternoon, although still breezy in southern England.

Tonight is mostly dry with clear spells in the west. eastern areas seeing more cloud and there is the chance of a shower in the far southeast towards morning. Stying breezy in southern England.
