Rain and strong winds in northwest.
An area of low pressure to the northwest of the British Isles will bring unsettled weather conditions for Ireland and Scotland with outbreaks of rain and gales in western exposure. A rather cloudy start for Wales and England but soon sunny with showers developing in the afternoon mostly in west. Best of the conditions of central and southern England. Temperatures will rise up to 16C over Ireland and Scotland, 18C over Wales, and rising mid-20s over much of England with isolated 26-27C over East Anglia and Kent.
Cloudy with rain this persistent over western exposure for Scotland and over high ground along with gales. Rather cloudy and windy for Ireland with rain in the north. Some rain is possible over northwest England and west Wales, otherwise it will be a rather dry evening and night for the rest of the British Isles. Minimum temperatures at 12C over Ireland and Scotland, but 14-15C elsewhere.
