Patchy rain and windy in Ireland, fair and dry for most of the UK
A chilly morning and rather a cloudy one as well. There could be a few breaks in the cloud in the east with soe bright spells here, these continue through the day. Cloud is going to be thicker in the west, although most areas stay dry.
Some patchy rain and drizzle in the far southwest on England. This drizzle and patchy rain affecting the far southwest of Wales too. Rain and cloud in central and eastern Ireland, with windy conditions in western parts of the UK and eastern Ireland. Tonight sees more rain in Scotland, western Wales and southwest England. A few spots of rain in the Midlands. Eastern areas are likely to have clearer skies an should be dry. Breezy, especially in the west.
