Sunshine and broken cloud
Higher pressure influences the country on Saturday, so many places will escape with a drier day with some sunshine.
A few scattered showers are possible locally, perhaps the odd heavy bursts, mostly in eastern counties, but these quite isolated.
A southerly breeze will tend to strengthen in western areas, where cloud will thicken as fronts move in from the Atlantic. Rain will then develop across western fringes of Britain up to dusk, turning heavy for a few hours into the night.
Today's top temperatures reaching 18 to 22C, warmest in eastern areas, but feeling less humid than recent days.
Have a great day.
