Change of weather pattern.

High pressure begins to retreat south, allowing a breezy westerly flow to take hold. Morning fog will clear, giving way to bright spells for many. Western Scotland can expect showers, turning into longer spells of rain by the afternoon. Temperatures will peak between 10-12°C.

A band of rain will move southeast from western Scotland, reaching northern England, north Wales, and central Ireland by early Saturday. Showers will follow across Scotland, turning heavier in the far north. Overnight lows will range from 6-8°C, with some southern and central areas of England dipping to 2-3°C.
