Remaining generally cold, frost to start for Highland to Stirling and Lanarkshire lifting mid-morning with sunshine and variable cloud during the morning 3C, Cloudy and breezy Western Isles to Galloway including Derry and Antrim with rain becoming prolonged through the afternoon 6C. Dry with sunshine to start across Cumbria to Yorkshire, increasingly cloudy and breezy by and through the afternoon 5C. Sunshine and variable cloud for the morning Powys through to Nottinghamshire towards Bedfordshire and Hampshire, cloud increasing across Glamorgan into the afternoon and later into Oxfordshire temperaures briefly 6C through the afternoon becoming gnerally cloudy through the afternoon further east into Norfolk and Sussex 7C.

Cloudy across Scotland and N.Ireland during the evening and then overnight wth rain prolonged into Highland tranferring to Borders during the night with showesr followiung into Highland, breeezy with a freshening SW wind. Cloudy across Derry to Antrim, across Dyfed to Heferfordshire, later transferring eastwards to Kent with outbreaks of rain, heavy for a time across Yorkshire, brrezy with a freshening SW wind, temperatures rsing during the night 11C.
