Sunshine and varaiable cloud with scattered showers for Stirling, Lanarkshire to Borders, through Cumbria to Powys across to Lincolnshire, through Oxfrodshire to Bedfordshire and Suffolk temperatures 2 to 4C into the afternoon. Cloudy across Devon and Cornwall, into Dorset through to Hampshire towards Kent with outbreask of mainly rain near coasts, though likely of snow inland and with height across Dartmoor and Exmoor, Marlborough Downs towards Chilterns and uplands in Sussex with a freshening E/SE wind so increasng wind chill Showers continuing through the evening and overnight across Derry and Antrim, Western Isles towards Shetland, with a widespread severe frost away from coasts for remainder of Scotland, -10C lowland Highland to Galloway. Dry with clear skies for remainder of England and Wales with moderate frost -5C Cumbria to Powys. Cloud with mix of rain and snow clearing away from Hampshire to Kent temperatires then -2C later overnight.
