for Tuesday 7th Janaury 2025 Continuing cold for all, cloudy with prolonged and frequent squally snow showers for Antrim to Western Isles and Galloway, across Shetland into Aberdeenshire, temperature near 0C through the day. Remainder of Scotland across Perth, Stirling to Borders sunshine and scattered snow showers frost persisting through the day. Snow showers continuing into evening for Highland, frost becoming severe overnight. Forst to start for Cumbria to Cheshire with sunshine and snow showers through the morning and into the afternoon, snow showers for Clwyd to Cheshire and Shropshire, Glamorgan through to Devon into the afternoon temperature near 0C. Yorkshire to Norfolk, across Warwickshire to Oxfordshire mainly dry with sunshine temperature briefly 2C into the afternoon with a widespread frost early into the evening becoming generally moderate -3C overnight.
