Cold, plenty of cloud and rain in the west
Quite a misty and urky start to the day ion many central and eastern areas. Cloud should be breaking here to allow for a few bright spells to poke through. Some showery sots of rain and drizzle affecting eastern coasts andf Scotland and England. More persistent rain in southwest Scotland, Wales and western England as well as central nd western Ireland. Cloud shrouds the hills.
A cold afternon with the rain into northwest England, the Midlands and southern England. Drizzle in Wales and the southwest. Drier to the far east. More rain in western and souther Ireland. Tonight becomes wetter and breezy in northern England. Rain too in Wales and the Midlands, perhaps drier in southern England although some rain in East Anglia and the southeast. Further rain in eastern Scotland and mostly cloudy here. Chilly for all.
