Snow showers northern Scotland

Good morning,

A cold and cloudy start to Sunday morning, with a touch of ground frost in parts of northern England and Scotland. The risk of some light showers and snow flurries in northern Wales. Showers in northern Scotland, falling widely as snow. Breezy to the north.

In the afternoon, the south of England stays mostly cloudy, with the risk of some light drizzle. Some sunny intervals further north over England and central Scotland, also across Ireland, but staying relatively cloudy in northern areas, and feeling very cold in the wind, highs 2 to 5C.

Overnight, clearer skies, particularly across north and eastern Engand, southern Ireland, and parts of southwest England. Pockets of light showers in central and southern England. Snow showers across northern Scotland, Northern Ireland, north and west Wales. Dry elsewhere. Temperatures dipping below freezing for many places.

Get ready for a very cold week ahead, with the risk of some snow showers!
