Heavy rain in north and west later.
A band of rain spreading east through the morning, with drier and brighter conditions following on the back with easing winds. An area of low pressure will arrive over Ireland later in the afternoon with heavy rain and strong winds. This will spread northeast towards Friday morning. Maximums of 17C in north, and 20C in south.
Low pressure will move northeast through the evening with heavy rain and strong winds, mostly over the central and northern parts of the British Isles, with gales in exposure. Rain will be more light and patchy over southern England. Minimum temperatures at 12C in north, and 16C in south.
