Morning Call - April 19, 2021
Cloudy, rain west
Early fog clears

Issued: 0530hrs Monday 19th April 2021
Duty forecaster: Claire Darbinyan

Early mist and fog patches over eastern parts of the UK lift and clear quickly this morning to leave a fine and dry day here. Feeling pleasantly warm here in the sunshine this afternoon. A cloudier day further west with outbreaks of rain affecting Ireland and the northwest of Scotland.

Good Morning,

A cool start to the day across much of England with a patchy frost here and in sheltered spots of Wales and Scotland. Early mist and fog patches are expected, especially across eastern England, but these should lift and clear quickly. Cloudier further west this morning with outbreaks of rain through western Ireland, the Hebrides and into the far northwest of Scotland.

Through the afternoon rain slowly spreads in central parts of Ireland, western Northern Ireland and further into the northwest of Scotland. Staying dry elsewhere with good spells of sunshine. Feeling very pleasant in the sun in southeastern parts of England.

Monday evening sees rain edge slowly into eastern parts of Ireland and further across northwest Scotland, perhaps reaching the Northern Isles later. A fine end to the day across the rest of the UK.

Have a good day!

Claire
