A low pressure system arrives.
Increasingly cloudy in the morning with rain soon spreading over northern parts of Ireland and western Scotland, spreading east through the afternoon. Further south over Ireland, England and Wales expect thick cloud perhaps with some light rain or drizzle mostly in northwest. A few sunny spells for the southeast. Strong winds, with tops of 14C in north and 21C in south.
A cloudy evening with heavy rain persisting in north and west this heavy in places. Overnight, rain will spread east over Ireland, Wales and western England being heavy at times. Further east mostly dry but cloudy. Wind with gales in exposure and over high ground, and minimum temperatures at 14-16C over most parts.
