Morning Call - November 07, 2024
Cloudy again
Mild and dry

Issued: 0530hrs Thursday 7th November 2024

Locally sunny north of hills

Good morning,

A familiar weather story continues, high pressure just to our east providing a mild and rather damp southerly airflow. Extensive grey skies but little if any rain.

Some holes in the cloud will occur, best toward the leeward north side of hills in north Wales, locally northeast England and Cumbria, toward the central belt of Scotland and more widely north of the Highlands.

South-facing hills may have a little drizzle, whilst a stronger southerly breezes means southern Ireland will be more frequently drizzly, but total rainfall small.

Today's top temperatures reaching 12 to 14C for most, locally warmer to the north of high ground in Wales and toward the Moray coast of Scotland, up to 17C.

Have a great day.
Garry
